Hey guys, it's been quite awhile since I put "lead" to paper. What's inspired me to get an article out? Well it's simple. Presidential elections are coming down the pipeline soon, and I feel it's important I make my position as clear as crystal, my peoples.
I know I've stumped for one of the candidates out of a sense of honor and duty to both my party and the people who supported me in my own endeavors...but that does not mean that my opinion cannot be swayed by reason, or supporting facts and evidence. I am a reasonable man, and not one that bends once I've set my mind on doing certain things.
After a long talk early this evening with one of the candidates, some points have been made , some with merit, some without. Enough points were made with me, however, that I feel my position will need to adjust in tune with the facts as presented.
First off, after both the radio show Sunday night, and reading over the logs from the debate last night, a few things are apparent to me.
One candidate is drastically underprepared and that should never be the case with something as vital as the office of President is. If someone cannot prepare something as simple as a campaign for their office, and their ideas are out of touch with the realities of the American situation, how ready are they to be in the big chair?
One candidate is far too optimistic in the readiness of rookies to be in high pressure roles without proper oversight. In the positions some of these rookies have applied for, you have to be ready in an instant to react to shifting defense needs, priorities and program management, should a situation devolve to be included in the equation. No amount of babysitting can repair a drastic mistake in these positions, should one be made.
One candidate is an unapologetic asshole, opinionated, sometimes overbearing and pushy, but has a solid and stated plan in the works, with people to implement it and veterans to push people into making sure that things get done.
I took a few hours to deliberate on these developments, which leads me into the next phase of what impact each would make.
One candidate wouldn't change much, aside from adding trappings and maintaining our stance on bending over backwards for Sigma, sometimes to the detriment of our own security, especially when we are the backbone of defense for some of the smaller countries in our alliance. More importantly, our alliance CANNOT be allowed to stagnate and even more importantly, it cannot be allowed to always be labeled as The Musketeers' little sister. It is of vital import to make our own identity and enforce policies that continue to be mutually beneficial for ALL parties concerned.
One candidate knows that alliance politics have stagnated and would like to change that, but I worry just how in touch this person actually is with the shifting global political climate, considering this person has been out of cabinet for months now.
One candidate knows what needs done, but how many people this person can potentially alienate in this person's push for change remains to be seen. Change IS needed and change is needed to be ENFORCED. Bottom line. We cannot continue to sit on the sidelines and let our population dwindle, and this candidate has made clear to everyone asking that a defined plan is in the works upon election.

After deliberating on all these factors, I've finally come to a decision, which was in part swayed by the fact that one of my best friends and supporters in this game,
InsaneParrot , has decided to come across party lines as well. As such, I'm a man who knows the truth when he sees it laid out in front of him. The first two aren't ready.
So my rather unofficial endorsement will lie with
Pfeiffer . I realize this may come as a shock to some, but I have to follow pure common sense and logic on this, with assurances towards securing our future and the future of the nation.
It is my hope that
Pfeiffer uses this opportunity to its best potential, to change minds about his level of commitment to the country, without shutting down new players and supporting them like he has stated. They are our future and today's little fighters will be tomorrow's front line tanks. Make the call. I've given you my perception on events transpiring over the course of Sunday and Monday.
May your paths to success be short and fulfilling.

USA as a world power? In E-Sim it is possible!
In E-Sim we have a huge, living world, which is a mirror copy of the Earth. Well, maybe not completely mirrored, because the balance of power in this virtual world looks a bit different than in real life. In E-Sim, USA does not have to be a world superpower, It can be efficiently managed as a much smaller country that has entrepreneurial citizens that support it's foundation. Everything depends on the players themselves and how they decide to shape the political map of the game.
Work for the good of your country and see it rise to an empire.
Activities in this game are divided into several modules. First is the economy as a citizen in a country of your choice you must work to earn money, which you will get to spend for example, on food or purchase of weapons which are critical for your progress as a fighter. You will work in either private companies which are owned by players or government companies which are owned by the state. After progressing in the game you will finally get the opportunity to set up your own business and hire other players. If it prospers, we can even change it into a joint-stock company and enter the stock market and get even more money in this way.
In E-Sim, international wars are nothing out of the ordinary.
Become an influential politician.
The second module is a politics. Just like in real life politics in E-Sim are an extremely powerful tool that can be used for your own purposes. From time to time there are elections in the game in which you will not only vote, but also have the ability to run for the head of the party you're in. You can also apply for congress, where once elected you will be given the right to vote on laws proposed by your fellow congress members or your president and propose laws yourself. Voting on laws is important for your country as it can shape the lives of those around you. You can also try to become the head of a given party, and even take part in presidential elections and decide on the shape of the foreign policy of a given state (for example, who to declare war on). Career in politics is obviously not easy and in order to succeed in it, you have to have a good plan and compete for the votes of voters.
You can go bankrupt or become a rich man while playing the stock market.
The international war.
The last and probably the most important module is military. In E-Sim, countries are constantly fighting each other for control over territories which in return grant them access to more valuable raw materials. For this purpose, they form alliances, they fight international wars, but they also have to deal with, for example, uprisings in conquered countries or civil wars, which may explode on their territory. You can also take part in these clashes, although you are also given the opportunity to lead a life as a pacifist who focuses on other activities in the game (for example, running a successful newspaper or selling products).
At the auction you can sell or buy your dream inventory.
E-Sim is a unique browser game. It's creators ensured realistic representation of the mechanisms present in the real world and gave all power to the players who shape the image of the virtual Earth according to their own. So come and join them and help your country achieve its full potential.
