Hi


This article is as short as possible, just saying goodbye to everyone and giving a few examples why I decided to quit Primera and why I won't play any new temp. servers. I will play Ethnica and Suna for 3 months.

It would be really nice if you could vote + subscribe, so I can get the last missing medal before I quit.


The game got really uninteresting and annoying for me for many reasons, I will list just a few of the reasons.

Game as a whole:


1) Old bugs aren't fixed just new bugs and problems are added to the old ones. As far as the build of the game goes it feels like it was just released because there are so many bugs and mistakes which there shouldn't be in a game older than 2-3 months -

1a) Estonians have made tens of tickets and PM-d devs about our capital city Tallinn being in the wrong place in e-sim, not fixed.

1b) Round timer and damage done don't refresh quick enough, you can refresh your browser as much as you want but you are still fighting in the blind for the last 10 sec of the round most of the time and will get the "round has ended" message when timer shows that you still have 3-6 sec left too often.

1c) Under auctions there needs to be two columns where you can choose the equipment stats you prefer to search for. Right now if you want to see finished auctions of some crit/max equipment you can only select either crit or max and thus have to scroll through all kinds of equipment with str/max, hit/crit etc. stats Having 2 columns to choose both stats from would mean only crit/max equipment would show up as results. Any game older than 3 months should already have that option.

2) Premium account only for EURs - you either pay for the game or your fighting and game experience is limited due to 3 day debuffs, no spectator info etc.

There are many many other examples, but I will stop there.

Temp. servers:


1) NPC-s ruined the fun for me in temp. servers. Before NPC-s countries with a lot of colonies atleast had the restriction of only having a more limited amount of workforce and thus higher salaries so it hindered them from becoming too strong. Smaller countries still had a chance.

After NPC-s the powers of countries became so obvious that the final top5 places were just negotiated among a few countries and there wasn't really any chance of someone else changing it. Ethnica (russia) is a great example what NPC-s have done; smaller countries can't even give out as much supplies to their top players in a week or even month as russia gives to theirs daily.

2) I have achieved all I wanted in temp. servers - 1000+ BH-s in temp. server, 50+ BH-s with daily limits, 100+ BH-s with 75 limits, being the cp of top1 total damage country and having SC with worth over 10k g.

Europa -1) 1257 BH-s in total, 2) 54 BH-s with daily limits, 3) 152 BH-s daily limits + 2 medkits i.e 75 limits.

America - 1) as the cp of Venezuela we were top1 total damage country for a while, 2) owner and CEO of SC Profit Machine which was worth 12+k gold by day 80 and that without having NPC-s in server.


3) The progress you have made in permanent servers gets diluded by cheaters and gold buyers getting same or better equipment and stats by merging from temp. servers.

Again there's more bad things, but I won't waste time.

Primera:

Too many dead countries and too few wars. The new dead countries, which were added because of the merges, and the old ones are good only for big countries who can colonize and profit from them in many ways. Big countries can afford sending out some colonists to milk gold from league BH-s because getting less medkits isn't an option for small countries. Second of all big countries can gather all 3 important high regions and make quite a lot of gold doing so, they don't really have to be afraid of smaller countries so they can block smaller countries from getting high regions during sailor's week etc. even if they themselves don't even want that region.

Also there being all types of high regions easy to get for big countries means they have no need to fight eachother and small countries have no power to fight them, so there's rarely any wars, anywhere to BH hunt etc. Having those dead countries just makes the problem for small countries bigger every day and thus making more and more players quit playing out of boredom and because of the power difference between countries being too big.

I would like to thank all the people who made the game fun for me in the beginning.

USA as a world power? In E-Sim it is possible!

In E-Sim we have a huge, living world, which is a mirror copy of the Earth. Well, maybe not completely mirrored, because the balance of power in this virtual world looks a bit different than in real life. In E-Sim, USA does not have to be a world superpower, It can be efficiently managed as a much smaller country that has entrepreneurial citizens that support it's foundation. Everything depends on the players themselves and how they decide to shape the political map of the game.

Work for the good of your country and see it rise to an empire.

Activities in this game are divided into several modules. First is the economy as a citizen in a country of your choice you must work to earn money, which you will get to spend for example, on food or purchase of weapons which are critical for your progress as a fighter. You will work in either private companies which are owned by players or government companies which are owned by the state. After progressing in the game you will finally get the opportunity to set up your own business and hire other players. If it prospers, we can even change it into a joint-stock company and enter the stock market and get even more money in this way.


In E-Sim, international wars are nothing out of the ordinary.

Become an influential politician.

The second module is a politics. Just like in real life politics in E-Sim are an extremely powerful tool that can be used for your own purposes. From time to time there are elections in the game in which you will not only vote, but also have the ability to run for the head of the party you're in. You can also apply for congress, where once elected you will be given the right to vote on laws proposed by your fellow congress members or your president and propose laws yourself. Voting on laws is important for your country as it can shape the lives of those around you. You can also try to become the head of a given party, and even take part in presidential elections and decide on the shape of the foreign policy of a given state (for example, who to declare war on). Career in politics is obviously not easy and in order to succeed in it, you have to have a good plan and compete for the votes of voters.


You can go bankrupt or become a rich man while playing the stock market.

The international war.

The last and probably the most important module is military. In E-Sim, countries are constantly fighting each other for control over territories which in return grant them access to more valuable raw materials. For this purpose, they form alliances, they fight international wars, but they also have to deal with, for example, uprisings in conquered countries or civil wars, which may explode on their territory. You can also take part in these clashes, although you are also given the opportunity to lead a life as a pacifist who focuses on other activities in the game (for example, running a successful newspaper or selling products).


At the auction you can sell or buy your dream inventory.

E-Sim is a unique browser game. It's creators ensured realistic representation of the mechanisms present in the real world and gave all power to the players who shape the image of the virtual Earth according to their own. So come and join them and help your country achieve its full potential.
