I am concerned about our actual Defence Systems and Hospitals situation. So I will write about 3 things:

1. Why DS and HS became too strong?

2. Why I think the new update was wrong in the first place.

3. What could be changed instead or how to improve the situation.


1. Why DS and HS became too strong?

At the start they needed 6000 [q5 one] productivity and raw to be build [am I not mistaken? Well, at least there was period for 6000, nevermind]. It was really too much. Lithuania (and I think not the only one) counted many times, but we went to conclusions it is not worth it.
Than Admin reduced the amounts twice. We counted again, and went to conclusions that it will pay off ONLY if it is really epic round. Totally not worth it...
Finally, Admin did it again. So the q5 needed only 1500 productivity. Well, to pay off the round had to be big. But it was debatable. So countries started building q1, q2 etc.
And then, Admin made one more update. If round and battle is won DS stays! This changed everything. Ofcourse DS and HS was crucial for all countries. So that is the reason - after the last but one change DS and HS was more or less good to build, and then they were improved again. Dramatically.


2. Why I think the new update was wrong in the first place.

A)The arguments was such: we don't want the game to become stagnate [weaker countries are not getting their regions back and will leave the game], it is impossible to win raunds against q5 DS, there is no strategy anymore and so on. The weaker countries are getting erased and not getting their regions back because of the capital and penalty rules... But we are not talking about those rules here.
But it was wrong. That was just desperate younger age citizens speaking... Gotaland was taken even with DS, Tuscany too. And it involved really a lot of strategy to do that. And it was fun to do. We planned a lot of fake moves and so on to make enemies put BO elsewhere and than it was only 5% difference if compared with elite MU.
Ofcourse, DS + HS is another talk. But it means you need to get more firepower on your side. Is it not possible? Howcome? If the alliances divided in the other side that is not a problem of the DS and HS mechanics. Just wait - it will change. Or don't wait - work for it to change.
B)DS regions was an excellent damage drain objects. No offence to Indonesia, this is just example . Similar thing was with Bulgaria or Lithuania.
By the way. Howcome the 15/20/25 damage bonus which needs investment to get is soooo big, when -25 producitivity debuff without capital is not even mentioned by anyone?

So where is strategy gone? There was plenty of it, just use you heads.


3. Okey, so now to new improvements.

A suggestion
Not only q5 DS and HS doesn't have any advantages compared to productivity used on it but now it has weakness too. They need 6 points to be build. Region has 26. So it is 4 q5 buildings in a region. I don't know how admin sees it... But I find them USELESS. Where is the space for that strategy? Hmm, should I get bonus for 8 rounds (q2 buildings) or should I get 4 uselless rounds where noone fights?

The cap should be higher. It should be 36 or 42 points.
So, still, you could choose if you want to have like 13 [or 15] rounds covered in a minor damage bonus or fewer - 6 [or even 7] rounds covered in a really big boost. Here is the strategy
This is just an idea, how it should work. Exact numbers should be recalculated and checked by Admin .

B suggestion

I don't like the points system, to be honest with you. It is too messy, not logical... If the update would be undone, admin could increase the productivity amount of those buildings again. It could be twice or trice. To make countries choose if they want to invest in their defence power or they want to invest in attack power - spend that productivity building q5 weapons and so on and crushing enemies defences. With strategy or with raw power. Or with both.

C suggestion

These changes involved every citizen. Admin , I think you should make buildings companies be downgraded by 100% refunds. Why? Because it was an update making higher quality companies less attractive. Citizens who would know this update wouldn't have bought or create those companies. It is an easy solution to satisfy everybody. Who is not involved won't care, who is - will be able to choose to get their investements back or to leave as it is.
Make this possible for a month or so Easy.

P.s. last idea is taken from chillyzeis article. To put it in the poll to see if people wants it.

Update, interesting thoughts about hospitals AND solution for DS / HS from Blackadder . Could be too idea for new improvements.
with curent update Hospitals are totaly useles and can get removed from the game.
Getting 5% more DMG is much simpler then spending 5% less wellenss.

As i saw problem of situation from 3 days ago was that occupied countries will newer be able to liberate when all their regions will be filled with Q5 DS&Hospitall. Since they have no income because of economic modul that we have. And latter will get realy eassy conquered again.

Problem would get solved if you can instal more in original regions then in conquered regions. So Countries would eassier liberate and later easier defend themselfs.

About Hospitals. Or remove them from the game or divide those points on half and you can instal for 13 points of DSs and 13 points of Hospitals.

Activities in this game are divided into several modules. First is the economy as a citizen in a country of your choice you must work to earn money, which you will get to spend for example, on food or purchase of weapons which are critical for your progress as a fighter. You will work in either private companies which are owned by players or government companies which are owned by the state. After progressing in the game you will finally get the opportunity to set up your own business and hire other players. If it prospers, we can even change it into a joint-stock company and enter the stock market and get even more money in this way.

Become an influential politician.

The second module is a politics. Just like in real life politics in E-Sim are an extremely powerful tool that can be used for your own purposes. From time to time there are elections in the game in which you will not only vote, but also have the ability to run for the head of the party you're in. You can also apply for congress, where once elected you will be given the right to vote on laws proposed by your fellow congress members or your president and propose laws yourself. Voting on laws is important for your country as it can shape the lives of those around you. You can also try to become the head of a given party, and even take part in presidential elections and decide on the shape of the foreign policy of a given state (for example, who to declare war on). Career in politics is obviously not easy and in order to succeed in it, you have to have a good plan and compete for the votes of voters.


You can go bankrupt or become a rich man while playing the stock market.

The international war.

The last and probably the most important module is military. In E-Sim, countries are constantly fighting each other for control over territories which in return grant them access to more valuable raw materials. For this purpose, they form alliances, they fight international wars, but they also have to deal with, for example, uprisings in conquered countries or civil wars, which may explode on their territory. You can also take part in these clashes, although you are also given the opportunity to lead a life as a pacifist who focuses on other activities in the game (for example, running a successful newspaper or selling products).


At the auction you can sell or buy your dream inventory.
