I'm writing this to address the obvious problem that will be ongoing. Russia controls all of our regions but one. We are weak and underpopulated. Get over it. I'm not saying this to discourage your urges to liberate the rest of our regions. I am saying that we do not currently have the strength to succeed. A war with Russia is not a one on one affair. We would be fighting their collective set of alliances also. This includes:

Indonesia - Ranked #4 in the world
Argentina - Ranked #27 in the world
Romania - Ranked #14 in the world
Brazil - Ranked #15 in the world
Bulgaria - Ranked #6 in the world
Portugal - Ranked #9 in the world
United Kingdom - Ranked #25 in the world
Hungary - Ranked #10 in the world
This is against our set of alliances
Croatia - Ranked #17 in the world
Serbia - Ranked #3 in the world
The United States is ranked #20. Russia is ranked #12.
These are population stats but in a world where buying gold with real life money we are not going to overcome our deficits with our real life advantages.If anything the United States will be at a disadvantage in this game because of the real life hatred of the United States. It will be easy for politicians in other nations to motivate sets of alliances and populations against us. It will be considered fun to conquer the US.This is our reality. We do not even have a strong ingame economy to fund an organized military. Our strongest ranked military unit, The US Army is ranked 89th in the world. That is nothing to be ashamed of but we need to understand what our assets are to wield our limited power.
Now, to refer to the idea of what a nation is in an online social strategy game. The United States of America is an idea given power by game mechanics. We are citizens of this nation and some of us reside in this nation. America is an idea we give power when we play this game. When we work in this country we give taxes. When we vote in this country we decide who will lead us through the extra buttons given to elected officials. When we fight, whether it is through alliance sets or through our own wars we fight in the name of the United States.
What this nation needs is patience and an adherence to a long term strategy. We need to strengthen our characters. We need to grow our job skills. We need to build and make profitable companies. We need to develop a culture. We need to make friends. Not just in this nation but in others. We need allies Not just people willing to sign a mutual protection pact with us but friends who will challenge their own countrymen to fight for us. Playing politics in this nation is just one part of playing the game. To become powerful we need to talk to people in other nations and advance our interests. We need to not just develop a state department. We need to cultivate the benefit of making international relations a priority.
America will always have enemies. We can not be passive about this. We need to embrace it and turn it to our advantage. If we will have nations always willing to attack us we can use that to be one of the centers of international politics. The only way to do this though is to get people to effectively make friends.
Patience and time will be our best allies. We have many great players who have already joined this nation. It is our responsibility to ourselves and our fellow countrymen to play this game smart and strategically. Fighting for America is not just clicking buttons. It is giving meaning to our experiences. It is making this game fun for our fellow players. It is learning how to manipulate not just our enemies but also our friends to be political assets that advance us to our inevitable future. We America are not strong enough yet to liberate all of our home regions. We are certainly strong enough that we can not be defeated now. America is rising. We are the sleeping giant. Let our enemies think we still sleep. Waiting, now is what we need to do. Play the game and all of its modules. This is a game after all.

USA as a world power? In E-Sim it is possible!
In E-Sim we have a huge, living world, which is a mirror copy of the Earth. Well, maybe not completely mirrored, because the balance of power in this virtual world looks a bit different than in real life. In E-Sim, USA does not have to be a world superpower, It can be efficiently managed as a much smaller country that has entrepreneurial citizens that support it's foundation. Everything depends on the players themselves and how they decide to shape the political map of the game.
Work for the good of your country and see it rise to an empire.
Activities in this game are divided into several modules. First is the economy as a citizen in a country of your choice you must work to earn money, which you will get to spend for example, on food or purchase of weapons which are critical for your progress as a fighter. You will work in either private companies which are owned by players or government companies which are owned by the state. After progressing in the game you will finally get the opportunity to set up your own business and hire other players. If it prospers, we can even change it into a joint-stock company and enter the stock market and get even more money in this way.
In E-Sim, international wars are nothing out of the ordinary.
Become an influential politician.
The second module is a politics. Just like in real life politics in E-Sim are an extremely powerful tool that can be used for your own purposes. From time to time there are elections in the game in which you will not only vote, but also have the ability to run for the head of the party you're in. You can also apply for congress, where once elected you will be given the right to vote on laws proposed by your fellow congress members or your president and propose laws yourself. Voting on laws is important for your country as it can shape the lives of those around you. You can also try to become the head of a given party, and even take part in presidential elections and decide on the shape of the foreign policy of a given state (for example, who to declare war on). Career in politics is obviously not easy and in order to succeed in it, you have to have a good plan and compete for the votes of voters.
You can go bankrupt or become a rich man while playing the stock market.
The international war.
The last and probably the most important module is military. In E-Sim, countries are constantly fighting each other for control over territories which in return grant them access to more valuable raw materials. For this purpose, they form alliances, they fight international wars, but they also have to deal with, for example, uprisings in conquered countries or civil wars, which may explode on their territory. You can also take part in these clashes, although you are also given the opportunity to lead a life as a pacifist who focuses on other activities in the game (for example, running a successful newspaper or selling products).
At the auction you can sell or buy your dream inventory.
