Apa itu Gold?
Gold merupakan mata uang universal yang berlaku di e-sim. Berbeda dengan mata uang lokal seperti IDR yang hanya berlaku di sIndonesia, mata uang Gold diterima oleh seluruh sWorld, dan biasanya, mata uang Gold digunakan dalam transaksi jual beli dengan orang luar negeri. Selain itu, seluruh biaya yang diterapkan di e-sim, mulai dari biaya pembuatan perusahaan, pembukaan Military Unit, dan pembuatan aliansi, menggunakan Gold sebagai standar pembayaran.
Terdapat banyak cara untuk mendapatkan Gold di e-sim, di antaranya:
1)Naik level
Mulai dari level 7 ke atas, setiap kenaikan level, agan akan mendapatkan uang 5 Gold sebagai hadiah.
2)Mendapatkan medali
Terdapat 9 jenis medali yang bisa didapat sebagai pencapaian di e-sim, di antaranya:
-Congressman Medal: menjadi anggota kongres
-President Medal: menjadi presiden di satu negara
-Super Soldier Medal: melakukan training sebanyak 30 kali
-Society Builder Medal: mengajak 10 orang pemain e-sim, dan membantu mereka hingga mencapai level 7.
-Media Mogul Medal: mendapatkan 100 subscriber di koran yang agan miliki.
-Hard Worker Medal: bekerja selama 30 hari berurutan.
-Battle Hero Medal: mencapai damage tertinggi, baik di sisi penyerang atau bertahan, di satu perang.
-Resistance Hero Medal: sukses membebaskan satu wilayah dari satu negara penakluk
-Tester Medal: melaporkan bug, membantu dalam penyusunan wiki e-sim, dan kontribusi lainnya
Setiap medali yang didapat akan dihadiahi sebesar 5 Gold.
3)Menukarkan mata uang lokal di monetary exchange
Cara ini digunakan untuk mendapatkan Gold secara langsung dengan menukarkan mata uang lokal yang agan miliki sesuai dengan kurs yang berlaku.

4)Transaksi jual beli
Secara umum, transaksi yang dilakukan dengan orang luar negeri akan menggunakan Gold sebagai mata uang standar. Selain itu, standar Gold ini juga diterapkan oleh beberapa orang sIndonesia. Oleh karena itu, Gold bisa didapatkan dengan melakukan penjualan barang terhadap orang-orang tersebut.
Transaksi ini dilakukan di luar Product Market yang berlaku di e-sim. Transaksi ini umum dilakukan di channel pasar global e-sim, yaitu #strade .
5)Mendapatkan hadiah dari referral
Jika agan berhasil mengajak orang lain untuk bermain e-sim melalui link referral agan, maka beberapa insentif bisa didapat.
Jika orang tersebut berhasil mencapai level 7, maka agan akan mendapatkan hadiah sebesar 2G. Lalu, untuk setiap kenaikan level (mulai dari level 7) dan medali yang diraih oleh orang tersebut, agan juga akan mendapatkan insentif sebesar 10%, atau 0.5G.
6)Cara lain
Terdapat beberapa cara lain yang bisa dilakukan untuk mendapatkan Gold. Beberapa perusahaan menerapkan sistem donasi dalam pemberian gaji, dan donasi itu bisa berbentuk Gold, mata uang lokal, atau barang-barang lainnya.
Gold juga bisa didapat dengan mendapatkan pinjaman dari orang lain. Cara ini biasanya dilakukan untuk mendapatkan modal. Peminjaman uang ini bisa dilakukan dengan atau tanpa bunga, tergantung dari sistem yang diberlakukan oleh peminjam uang.
Perlu diingat, sampai sekarang, tidak ada cara resmi untuk menukarkan mata uang nyata dengan mata uang in-game seperti Gold. Penulis juga tidak melihat adanya kemungkinan tersebut di kemudian hari.

In E-Sim we have a huge, living world, which is a mirror copy of the Earth. Well, maybe not completely mirrored, because the balance of power in this virtual world looks a bit different than in real life. In E-Sim, USA does not have to be a world superpower, It can be efficiently managed as a much smaller country that has entrepreneurial citizens that support it's foundation. Everything depends on the players themselves and how they decide to shape the political map of the game.
Work for the good of your country and see it rise to an empire.
Activities in this game are divided into several modules. First is the economy as a citizen in a country of your choice you must work to earn money, which you will get to spend for example, on food or purchase of weapons which are critical for your progress as a fighter. You will work in either private companies which are owned by players or government companies which are owned by the state. After progressing in the game you will finally get the opportunity to set up your own business and hire other players. If it prospers, we can even change it into a joint-stock company and enter the stock market and get even more money in this way.
In E-Sim, international wars are nothing out of the ordinary.
Become an influential politician.
The second module is a politics. Just like in real life politics in E-Sim are an extremely powerful tool that can be used for your own purposes. From time to time there are elections in the game in which you will not only vote, but also have the ability to run for the head of the party you're in. You can also apply for congress, where once elected you will be given the right to vote on laws proposed by your fellow congress members or your president and propose laws yourself. Voting on laws is important for your country as it can shape the lives of those around you. You can also try to become the head of a given party, and even take part in presidential elections and decide on the shape of the foreign policy of a given state (for example, who to declare war on). Career in politics is obviously not easy and in order to succeed in it, you have to have a good plan and compete for the votes of voters.
You can go bankrupt or become a rich man while playing the stock market.
The international war.
The last and probably the most important module is military. In E-Sim, countries are constantly fighting each other for control over territories which in return grant them access to more valuable raw materials. For this purpose, they form alliances, they fight international wars, but they also have to deal with, for example, uprisings in conquered countries or civil wars, which may explode on their territory. You can also take part in these clashes, although you are also given the opportunity to lead a life as a pacifist who focuses on other activities in the game (for example, running a successful newspaper or selling products).
