Dear Irish citizens,
Darragh here, just making an article on updated events and new events. As you may be able to tell I am trying my best to get the Irish Media going, feel free to make articles about anything and get the community going!
So heres what I have seen:
1. New citizens from “steam”: In the last few days a number of players have joined Ireland from “steam”, basically a social site/game. Their intentions seem good for a United Ireland. However I have noticed over the shouts that members of SUI and PPI(their party) had been arguing about cs approval. I do agree cs shouldn just be handed out, but all in all theres no reason to fight and make a big deal out of it. If these guys want to prove themselves, let them. However I would appreciate it if they looked up our deals etc and to realise we are now apart of SIGMA. This is good for Ireland and I am trying my best to get things going. So I hope if they ever come to power, that they play smart for us.
2. New Parties: Parties seem to be the new fashion in Ireland, get em while their hot eh? Sadly though this just opens the way for possible PTOers looking to hurt Ireland. I urge all new citizens to join one of the 7 parties and not to setup a party. Feel free to setup Mus or donate to current ones if you wish to help Irelands strength.
3. SIGMA: As some of you seem to be still not sure, so ill clarify it for you. Ireland is part of the alliance SIGMA now. They accepted us recently and this is only good for us. Our Mus finally have active orders which many complained there was a lack of. Anyone needs any info PM me.
4. Once again Shannon: So many of our new citizens seem to complain about Shannon, it is part of a deal from 2months ago nearly. It has worked for us, and of course soon there will be a decision on it. I will try my utmost best to get the best possible outcome for Ireland, but obviously only if I’m elected CP.
5. Free Stuff for newbies: I am trying to do my best to give supplies to new players under level 10, I just hope nobody multies for it. This is a temporary setup until something can be worked out. Even if it means setting up more companies in Ireland to try get new players producing their own supplies.
6. Military Units: I am happy to say that our Mus are doing well, we seem to be doing a fair amount of damage. We obviously hope to improve their ranks to elite etc one day but for now we need to concentrate on the supply chain rather than the damage. If anyone feels they want to help out just send what you can to MP or DG, do not worry its voluntarily and will not be worried about if no one contributes to expansions.
7. IRC: I will always stick this here, IRC is the best way to communicate with fellow citizens. I urge all new citizens to attempt to join up and get involved. If you are ever stuck feel free to PM me on how to get onto IRC.
Although I am not certain who will be CP after elections, I still think it’s a good idea to get a community lotto going. If I am not elected I will take charge of it, If allowed. If not elected I’d still like someone to try help with it. Meaning daily articles and time limts to apply.
On another note, I would like to urge all citizens of Ireland to stop arguing. Everyone has a right to their own beliefs/opinions and we are not ones to judge because of this. Therefore I ask nicely that if you have a problem with someone to PM them rather than shout rage. I welcome all to Ireland, if we work as a team rather than against each other, I guarantee that Ireland will grow a lot easier. Just because we have too many parties does not mean that all of them are conspiring against us.

I urge the new citizens to get involved as much as possible. If new players help out, old players will help them out in turn and that’s what a community is all about.

About the game:
USA as a world power? In E-Sim it is possible!
In E-Sim we have a huge, living world, which is a mirror copy of the Earth. Well, maybe not completely mirrored, because the balance of power in this virtual world looks a bit different than in real life. In E-Sim, USA does not have to be a world superpower, It can be efficiently managed as a much smaller country that has entrepreneurial citizens that support it's foundation. Everything depends on the players themselves and how they decide to shape the political map of the game.
Work for the good of your country and see it rise to an empire.
Activities in this game are divided into several modules. First is the economy as a citizen in a country of your choice you must work to earn money, which you will get to spend for example, on food or purchase of weapons which are critical for your progress as a fighter. You will work in either private companies which are owned by players or government companies which are owned by the state. After progressing in the game you will finally get the opportunity to set up your own business and hire other players. If it prospers, we can even change it into a joint-stock company and enter the stock market and get even more money in this way.
In E-Sim, international wars are nothing out of the ordinary.
Become an influential politician.
The second module is a politics. Just like in real life politics in E-Sim are an extremely powerful tool that can be used for your own purposes. From time to time there are elections in the game in which you will not only vote, but also have the ability to run for the head of the party you're in. You can also apply for congress, where once elected you will be given the right to vote on laws proposed by your fellow congress members or your president and propose laws yourself. Voting on laws is important for your country as it can shape the lives of those around you. You can also try to become the head of a given party, and even take part in presidential elections and decide on the shape of the foreign policy of a given state (for example, who to declare war on). Career in politics is obviously not easy and in order to succeed in it, you have to have a good plan and compete for the votes of voters.
You can go bankrupt or become a rich man while playing the stock market.
The international war.
The last and probably the most important module is military. In E-Sim, countries are constantly fighting each other for control over territories which in return grant them access to more valuable raw materials. For this purpose, they form alliances, they fight international wars, but they also have to deal with, for example, uprisings in conquered countries or civil wars, which may explode on their territory. You can also take part in these clashes, although you are also given the opportunity to lead a life as a pacifist who focuses on other activities in the game (for example, running a successful newspaper or selling products).
At the auction you can sell or buy your dream inventory.
E-Sim is a unique browser game. It's creators ensured realistic representation of the mechanisms present in the real world and gave all power to the players who shape the image of the virtual Earth according to their own. So come and join them and help your country achieve its full potential.
