Nexus News, The new Nexus newspaper...!!! (repeat it ten times...:p)
What's the point? are already saying some people... Again a useless newspaper wich will tell us thanks to boring charts what we already know...
I say NO! Nexus News won't be an impersonal summarize of obvious facts. On the contrary, this newspaper will be maked up with regular interviews of some council members of the alliance about current problematic issues. And it's YOU unknown citizens, YOU brave soldiers or YOU respected congressmen who'll ask the questions!! This way, you can explain your worries and point your fingers at unsettling subjects.More than a newspaper, it will be Nexus opinion column!!!
This time, i decided to begin with Brain_Hacker, the current French CP.
Switzerland has just left the alliance and the general secretary has just resigned... Two painful shocks. What are the main reasons? Is Nexus able to overcome those difficulties?
Swizerland departure from Nexus was kind of predictable, their leaders were more and more complaining about the inactivity of Nexus members. And recently, they asked our opinion about an attack they wanted to lead against Italians. We have good relationships with Italians, so we wanted to stay neuter. It cast a chill... But what will be will be...
As regards to the general secretary resignation, it was also predictable. Shary was our general secretary but he didn't succeed in giving fresh vigour necessary to have a good cooperation and organisation.
Currently, Nexus is running without a general secretary. It's like an hydra without his head... (sorry for the translation...;p). But we created a document that all Nexus leadership can access. It contains informations about battles with high prority, biggest MU of each state member and informations about current leaders. I really hope this document marks the beginning of Nexus rebirth...
South Korea's entry in the alliance is a good news i guess. Did they join us only to ask for our help in their conflict with Canada? Or, are they willing to help and invest themselves in Nexus?
South Korea's entry in the alliance is a good news and also a bad news. Good news because, it gives us a better strike force. Bad news because South Korea is fighting with canadiens, member of TM alliance which is supported by Sigma...
It puts us in a tricky situation but we took the initiative by explaining to Sigma members that we were accepting South Korea and that we were hoping a fast arrangement between Canada and South Korea which would put an end to this conflict.
About South Korea intentions, i guess they didn't come with us hoping that we could put immediatly put an end to their war... But, currently, they really helped us in french battles even if their strike force is relatively weak... So, good feeling for now!
French wish to conquest Netherland has been recently granted. What's the next step? Will France help Nexus more? Or France is more likely to defend its positions in Netherlands?
Yes, we finally succeeded in conquering Netherlands, but a doubt still subsists: for how long? We are trying to secure the area and keep the domination as long as possible. We are also lucky to watch the current Alpha self destruction... We all know that Netherland, without Russian, Indonesian or other Alpha ex-members is very weak and will be unable to gain alone his territory back.
So, i hope we can help our allies in the future but, only South Korea is in war. No threaten for Nexus and all members own their entire land (except renting contracts)... Nexus is safe for now.
And what about France? Manage an alliance is an heavy burden. A new delegate for france is going to be nominated and a new forum is going to be created. Two steps necessary to Nexus rebirth?
France acts in Nexus as a key figure. We had the demonstration of this in the past and this month again. If France doesn't involve a lot and doesn't give the best part of itself, Nexus will sink. The proof is that since its creation, no one succeeded in giving fresh vigour necessary to function correctly.
I hope that the new french delegate, the next CP and the foreign ministry will be enough present and active on Nexus IRC to obtain concrete results.
However, I'm still sceptical about a Nexus forum...But, if there are some volunteers to create it, i'll do my best to make it work!
I'm more enthusiastic because of the creation of a Nexus Newspaper which will be written in English and in French.(No fake: real words used by Brain_Hacker...^^)
How do you feel relationships of France and more generally speaking relationships of Nexus with other alliances (Sigma, Alpha, etc)?
From my point of view, France has very good relationships with other alliances, even with Alpha thanks to our italian friends.
Next week, i'll interview for you and with your questions the last to come: South Korea.

About the game:
USA as a world power? In E-Sim it is possible!
In E-Sim we have a huge, living world, which is a mirror copy of the Earth. Well, maybe not completely mirrored, because the balance of power in this virtual world looks a bit different than in real life. In E-Sim, USA does not have to be a world superpower, It can be efficiently managed as a much smaller country that has entrepreneurial citizens that support it's foundation. Everything depends on the players themselves and how they decide to shape the political map of the game.
Work for the good of your country and see it rise to an empire.
Activities in this game are divided into several modules. First is the economy as a citizen in a country of your choice you must work to earn money, which you will get to spend for example, on food or purchase of weapons which are critical for your progress as a fighter. You will work in either private companies which are owned by players or government companies which are owned by the state. After progressing in the game you will finally get the opportunity to set up your own business and hire other players. If it prospers, we can even change it into a joint-stock company and enter the stock market and get even more money in this way.
In E-Sim, international wars are nothing out of the ordinary.
Become an influential politician.
The second module is a politics. Just like in real life politics in E-Sim are an extremely powerful tool that can be used for your own purposes. From time to time there are elections in the game in which you will not only vote, but also have the ability to run for the head of the party you're in. You can also apply for congress, where once elected you will be given the right to vote on laws proposed by your fellow congress members or your president and propose laws yourself. Voting on laws is important for your country as it can shape the lives of those around you. You can also try to become the head of a given party, and even take part in presidential elections and decide on the shape of the foreign policy of a given state (for example, who to declare war on). Career in politics is obviously not easy and in order to succeed in it, you have to have a good plan and compete for the votes of voters.
You can go bankrupt or become a rich man while playing the stock market.
The international war.
The last and probably the most important module is military. In E-Sim, countries are constantly fighting each other for control over territories which in return grant them access to more valuable raw materials. For this purpose, they form alliances, they fight international wars, but they also have to deal with, for example, uprisings in conquered countries or civil wars, which may explode on their territory. You can also take part in these clashes, although you are also given the opportunity to lead a life as a pacifist who focuses on other activities in the game (for example, running a successful newspaper or selling products).
At the auction you can sell or buy your dream inventory.
E-Sim is a unique browser game. It's creators ensured realistic representation of the mechanisms present in the real world and gave all power to the players who shape the image of the virtual Earth according to their own. So come and join them and help your country achieve its full potential.
