Thanks for joining and welcome to this great game. Here I will give you a step-by-step tutorial to get you through your first few days. This series of guides is designed to help players get to level 7, after that if you are still unsure of what to do simply get in touch and I’ll be glad to help out!

Below is a quick breakdown of each level, what features are unlocked and what medals you will be able to obtain..(for a better view, right click and view image)
Did you know that you can reach level 3 on your first day here?! Well let me show you how....
Day 1
So you took the first step and made an account, great! The real game starts here. First you will want to get an avatar uploaded. It’s quick, easy and gets you 5XP. Simply click on your citizen name to get to your profile page, in the top left there will be a link to ‘Edit Profile’. Simply click on this and upload away. This will get you halfway to level 2!
Now we need to carry on earning more! Head back to the homepage (click the house in the top left). From here, if you look down the left side of the screen you will see ‘Today’s Tasks’. This should have two buttons - Work & Train. For now, click on Train.
On this page, click ‘Train Now’. Congrats! You earned 20 strength and another 5XP. That means you are now Level 2! But we aren’t finished yet......
Now I want you to click on the ‘Work’ button from earlier (you will see that another has appeared now, ‘Fight’, but ignore that for now).
You will first need to get a job before earning money and improving your skill level. Enter the Job Market and click on whichever job you want to do, they are ranked with the highest paid at the top of the screen.
Once you have a job, click on ‘Work Now’ to earn a few quid and net another 5XP! This should bring your total to 15XP. But are we done? Not yet!
As you are level 2 now you can fight in any active battles your country is involved in. Back to the homepage we go! On the right side are a list of battles. Click on one of them to enter the battlefield.
Click on either Fight (1 Hit) or Beserk (5 Hits). Each ‘hit' gets you 1XP but uses up 10 Health. You’ll have 100 Health to start, so that’s another 10XP. That’s a new total of 25XP bringing you up and through to Level 3!
So there you have it, Level 3 on day 1 in only a few very simple steps. You can fight more during the day and earn more XP of course (up to a maximum of 110 fights a day!), but you need to eat food and use gifts to replenish your health.
So now you’re Level 3...
Congrats, if day 1 went as planned you should be at least level 3. It is possible to get to level 6 but that would need you to use 10 Q5 food and gifts to maximise your number of fights, something that would be very hard to accomplish on your first day.
What if I were to tell you that you can be earning gold in just 3 more days and you wouldn’t have to spend anything to do so? Interested? Then read on.....
So where do we go from here? Well, from each day now you can work, train and fight to gain more XP. If you have only been following the previous guide, level 4 only requires another 5XP which you will earn from either your daily work or training. Doing both will net you another 10XP and bring the total to 35. That’s Level 4!
Level 5 needs another 15XP so why don’t you head to the battlefield again?
You might have noticed that your health will only be 50 today. This is because following day change (DC) you will receive another 50 health. Why not the full 100? Because that is where houses come in.
Buying a house will grant you extra health each day after day-change, each quality adds 10 health. So having a Q1 house will get you 60 health after DC whereas Q5 will get you the full 100 (but costs a lot more!).
Carrying on then - choose a battle to join in with and fight 5 times today, this will get you another 5XP (Total = 40).
So again that’s another 3 levels in just one more day. Easy right? The next level requires a bit more time and 200XP. It’s worth it though as from level 7 onwards you will earn 5 Gold everytime. Simply working/training and fighting you can earn 15XP daily without spending a penny
Level 7 also gives you the ability to vote in Congress, Party and Country elections. Each vote gets you another 1XP so vote whenever you can! There will be an extra daily task on the days you can vote so watch out for it.
Level 7 - So what do you do now?
Well done for reaching level 7 and earning your first lot of gold (either 5 or 7). Every level from now on will get you another 5! This article will look to what you can do next in (or outside of) the game.
Newspaper
Once you reached level 4 you were able to start your own paper. However you probably couldn’t afford the 2 gold required to start one. Well now you can! Once you have a paper you can get your thoughts, ideas, complaints etc out to the world, just like others do! Papers are also a great way to publish your manifesto come election time.
If you write articles others are interested in then they may subscribe to your paper. For every 100 subscribers you get a Media Mogule medal and another 5G!
Start a Company
Working for someone else? Prefer to run your own empire? Well now you can. Companies cost 20 gold to set-up so it might be a bit longer before you can start your own. Whether or not you start a raw material company or opt for a full product, it can bring a lot more to the game than you may think. Competition is tough for both employees and selling your products so don’t think it’s an easy method to make money! Those that are successful at both can find a nice extra profit for themselves though.
Forums & IRC
You may have seen this plenty of times before, but the forums really are incredibly useful to get yourself immersed in the game. This is where discussions, debates, polls and more take place. Even better is the chance to get free food daily so check them out!
The next port of call is the IRC channels.
Ministry Work
Now then, work might not be the best term for it but working in a Ministry is a great way to help out the country. The experience gained will also help you out with any future elections, positions or even just making new contacts!

About the game:
USA as a world power? In E-Sim it is possible!
In E-Sim we have a huge, living world, which is a mirror copy of the Earth. Well, maybe not completely mirrored, because the balance of power in this virtual world looks a bit different than in real life. In E-Sim, USA does not have to be a world superpower, It can be efficiently managed as a much smaller country that has entrepreneurial citizens that support it's foundation. Everything depends on the players themselves and how they decide to shape the political map of the game.
Work for the good of your country and see it rise to an empire.
Activities in this game are divided into several modules. First is the economy as a citizen in a country of your choice you must work to earn money, which you will get to spend for example, on food or purchase of weapons which are critical for your progress as a fighter. You will work in either private companies which are owned by players or government companies which are owned by the state. After progressing in the game you will finally get the opportunity to set up your own business and hire other players. If it prospers, we can even change it into a joint-stock company and enter the stock market and get even more money in this way.
In E-Sim, international wars are nothing out of the ordinary.
Become an influential politician.
The second module is a politics. Just like in real life politics in E-Sim are an extremely powerful tool that can be used for your own purposes. From time to time there are elections in the game in which you will not only vote, but also have the ability to run for the head of the party you're in. You can also apply for congress, where once elected you will be given the right to vote on laws proposed by your fellow congress members or your president and propose laws yourself. Voting on laws is important for your country as it can shape the lives of those around you. You can also try to become the head of a given party, and even take part in presidential elections and decide on the shape of the foreign policy of a given state (for example, who to declare war on). Career in politics is obviously not easy and in order to succeed in it, you have to have a good plan and compete for the votes of voters.
You can go bankrupt or become a rich man while playing the stock market.
The international war.
The last and probably the most important module is military. In E-Sim, countries are constantly fighting each other for control over territories which in return grant them access to more valuable raw materials. For this purpose, they form alliances, they fight international wars, but they also have to deal with, for example, uprisings in conquered countries or civil wars, which may explode on their territory. You can also take part in these clashes, although you are also given the opportunity to lead a life as a pacifist who focuses on other activities in the game (for example, running a successful newspaper or selling products).
At the auction you can sell or buy your dream inventory.
E-Sim is a unique browser game. It's creators ensured realistic representation of the mechanisms present in the real world and gave all power to the players who shape the image of the virtual Earth according to their own. So come and join them and help your country achieve its full potential.
