Dear Citizens,

Before reading I want you to know that everything in this article is an opinion of myself. I want to outline the fact that I'm nothing significant to do with foreign affairs, and I don't claim to have any advanced knowledge about it, but I have an opinion. This is just my two-pence on the situation at hand. Please bear that in mind when reading this article, other than this, please enjoy.

"After every hurricane, comes a rainbow"
~Winston Churchill, 1941

On day seven (7), thirteen (13) of the thirty-three (33) countries in e-sim entered into an economic & military global alliance, latterly named All 4 One (A41) by it's founders, one of those being the United Kingdom. A41 was the first military alliance ever formed in e-sim, it was the start of history for this game, and was a proud moment for all citizens of e-sim.

However, some people have said: "A41 was made too big, too fast" "A41 is a puppet for Bulgaria" "A41 is a copy of EDEN". My opinion? Yes, it was too fast, too big, and seemingly pointless, but that didn't mean it wasn't going to work. In my opinion, the UK had a bright future with early allies and bro's like Sweden, Italy, USA and more. But, I trusted my country's leaders and their instinct to take us into the alliance.

After all, I was going to fight, physically and verbally, for my country and it's allies no matter what happened.

From my angle, the UK had it's future set in stone, we would have carried on fighting for Italy against Slovenia, along-side our future-bros Sweden & USA and a couple of other countries close to the UK's heart. As well as this we'd have a strong political future, I don't want to blow my country's trumpet but in my opinion we had some of e-sim's top politicians and persuasive people. I'm thinking of Smack, Ranflax, Castorious, kcirp and others; all of whom gave more than their fair share of effort towards giving the UK a bright future, and they were and still are more than capable enough to do it.

Despite this, I've always felt as if these people (With the UK's backing of course) took us into an alliance without deep consideration. As a country we were putting 500k+ damage p/day into other countries, but were we getting it in return? We grew apart from potential allies like Poland and Germany, before even having the chance, all for the sake of A41. We had security at home, ofcourse, our real allies gave us their word that they would come to our aid if ever it was needed. And of course, this was proven in the rouge RW in Canada a while ago, which we're very grateful for.

However, if A41 were to disperse and everything was to revert itself, would our allies just think we were useless, and drop us like a stone? Possibly.

So the alliance has given us good and bad things. For the good, we have security and a lot of battles to fight in everyday. On the bad side, we have a lack of real friendship with a lot of our allies in A41, as well as a mixed attitude towards the alliance within the population of the UK.

As you can see, the UK has a lot of options, and every UK citizen, and especially the leaders of our country, should have a think about what they really want from an alliance, security and firepower, or commitment and effort? There may come a time when the UK gets dropped like a stone by most of it's allies, and if it does happen, I want to be the first to say "I told you so".

Over and Out.

USA as a world power? In E-Sim it is possible!

In E-Sim we have a huge, living world, which is a mirror copy of the Earth. Well, maybe not completely mirrored, because the balance of power in this virtual world looks a bit different than in real life. In E-Sim, USA does not have to be a world superpower, It can be efficiently managed as a much smaller country that has entrepreneurial citizens that support it's foundation. Everything depends on the players themselves and how they decide to shape the political map of the game.

Work for the good of your country and see it rise to an empire.

Activities in this game are divided into several modules. First is the economy as a citizen in a country of your choice you must work to earn money, which you will get to spend for example, on food or purchase of weapons which are critical for your progress as a fighter. You will work in either private companies which are owned by players or government companies which are owned by the state. After progressing in the game you will finally get the opportunity to set up your own business and hire other players. If it prospers, we can even change it into a joint-stock company and enter the stock market and get even more money in this way.

In E-Sim, international wars are nothing out of the ordinary.

Become an influential politician.

The second module is a politics. Just like in real life politics in E-Sim are an extremely powerful tool that can be used for your own purposes. From time to time there are elections in the game in which you will not only vote, but also have the ability to run for the head of the party you're in. You can also apply for congress, where once elected you will be given the right to vote on laws proposed by your fellow congress members or your president and propose laws yourself. Voting on laws is important for your country as it can shape the lives of those around you. You can also try to become the head of a given party, and even take part in presidential elections and decide on the shape of the foreign policy of a given state (for example, who to declare war on). Career in politics is obviously not easy and in order to succeed in it, you have to have a good plan and compete for the votes of voters.

You can go bankrupt or become a rich man while playing the stock market.

The international war.

The last and probably the most important module is military. In E-Sim, countries are constantly fighting each other for control over territories which in return grant them access to more valuable raw materials. For this purpose, they form alliances, they fight international wars, but they also have to deal with, for example, uprisings in conquered countries or civil wars, which may explode on their territory. You can also take part in these clashes, although you are also given the opportunity to lead a life as a pacifist who focuses on other activities in the game (for example, running a successful newspaper or selling products).

At the auction you can sell or buy your dream inventory.

E-Sim is a unique browser game. It's creators ensured realistic representation of the mechanisms present in the real world and gave all power to the players who shape the image of the virtual Earth according to their own. So come and join them and help your country achieve its full potential.
