For all of the readers that expected the Alliance Stats, they will be coming later this week, but in this edition of The Sledge, I wanted to raise a few suggestions that I have been thinking of for sometime now.

First of all, I want to applaud the developers for this game. It is very exciting, and also they are very good at listening to their gamers!

No doubt these might cause some controversy! If you like some or even one of the suggestions, or even hate them, please leave a comment, and don't forget to vote, sub (if you haven't) and if you feel very strongly about some of these ideas, please shout this link into your nations shoutbox!

SUGGESTION 1: Political Module

I suggested this idea several months ago, however, after an initial build up of interest, it lost some steam.

1) You must send an application and be accepted to join a Political Party

For me, this is a no-brainer, and I am completely flabbergasted that this is not already incorporated into the game. In smaller nations, PTO's are always a threat, especially within "Political Parties". For instance, there is a small party of 10 people. 11 people decide to join the party the day before party elections and they win the elections. When congress applications occur, the party leader deletes the other 10's bids. This is a HUGE problem that I have seen of multiple occasions.

All that needs to happen is that the "Joining a Party" aspect just needs to become the same as "joining a MU". BOOM!.....Problem solved....... I really can't believe that something so simplistic has not yet been integrated into the political module.

Some arguments previously put forward was that it would make the political module stagnant and create a lack of competition between the parties. Kind of convenient that this was suggested by Leroy Combs - who we of course know was busted for a plethora of multi's. Yes, why would he say that, so him and his multi's could just join any party willy nilly and PTO them! If anything, it will make competition between parties even fiercer. Political leaders will actively have to go out an win peoples votes to join their party...that my friends is TRUE political competition!

2) Ability to revoke citizenship

This one probably for me is a 50/50, however, I have seen many people in the Canadian forums who are constantly calling for the ability of a nation to revoke ones citizenship. Sure, some will argue that it then becomes a popularity contest, but isnt the game already a sort of popularity contest? Just look at the Media Mogul Medals and the Society Builder Medals and bonuses.

Obviously an easy way to approach this is exactly the same way that a civil war is executed. Make it so 66% of the community agrees. Sure, this might mean that some very outspoken people from the community get kicked out of their nation.

As I mentioned though, I'm on the fence about this one!

3) Party Leader Can Mass Message Party Members

This is a very good element that should be implemented. Sure, premium members can also add multiple names to list, but just as there are check boxes for the members in the MU's, perhaps add this feature into the political party module for ease of communication with all members.

Simple enough.....write a message........tick all!

SUGGESTION 2: Battle Rules

Lately there has been some controversy about the newbie gap in this game.The stronger get stronger, the richer get richer, and the newer players, well are just completely screwed over. One of the main catalysts for this is the idea of the Battle Hero and the 5 gold award, and with the addition of the Houses and Estates raising the hit potential by 50, well, we will just see this problem become greater. One of the main problems is that BH hunters just go from battle to battle, and there is no limit to which battles they can participate in. So, with this in mind, I think that there should be 3 methods that an individual can participate in a particular country. I think that these 3 methods are realistic to the general 'art of war' philosophy, and would also make diplomacy and foreign relations gain a little more importance.

You can only fight in a battle if any of the following 3 apply.

1) You are a citizen of that country.
2) You are a citizen of a country that has a MPP with that country
3) Your MU is specifically set their battle orders to that battle (this allows for renegade MU's to pick and choose)


Without a doubt, this will most likely cause many of the veterans to be unhappy, however, when you think of the advantages it will create, and the realism added, it all makes sense. Yes, there is the disadvantage for those nations who lack battles, and lack MPP's, but it will motivate diplomacy, and also motivate those many to join Military Units.

SUGGESTION 3: MU Privileges

Once again, for me a no-brainer. At the moment as soon as you give storage privileges to a member, they have access to everything. Just divide the privileges into 2 categories.

1) Monetary Privileges
2) Storage Privileges

I know from personal experience, this has been very problematic for many MU's.

SUGGESTION 4: 2nd Newspaper

Players should be able to create a 2nd newspaper. This is simple. There are many people that enjoy writing and reading articles, like myself, however, to be honest, I know that some times, for instance, with this article, some of the subscribers wanted stats! Not me rambling on about other things.

Of course, the 2nd newspaper would NOT get any medial mogul medals

SUGGESTION 5: User Friendly ideas

Just a couple of simple ones. Maybe these could be premium features.

1) Icon for activated debuff -20%. This would just be a nice cosmetic addition. This one might be only available to "premium players"
2) A nice touch for the newspaper, just have a ranking icon in the top RH or LH corner to show what ranking you are.
3) A nice touch for the MU's, just have a ranking icon in the top RH or LH corner to show what ranking you are.

USA as a world power? In E-Sim it is possible!

In E-Sim we have a huge, living world, which is a mirror copy of the Earth. Well, maybe not completely mirrored, because the balance of power in this virtual world looks a bit different than in real life. In E-Sim, USA does not have to be a world superpower, It can be efficiently managed as a much smaller country that has entrepreneurial citizens that support it's foundation. Everything depends on the players themselves and how they decide to shape the political map of the game.

Work for the good of your country and see it rise to an empire.

Activities in this game are divided into several modules. First is the economy as a citizen in a country of your choice you must work to earn money, which you will get to spend for example, on food or purchase of weapons which are critical for your progress as a fighter. You will work in either private companies which are owned by players or government companies which are owned by the state. After progressing in the game you will finally get the opportunity to set up your own business and hire other players. If it prospers, we can even change it into a joint-stock company and enter the stock market and get even more money in this way.


In E-Sim, international wars are nothing out of the ordinary.

Become an influential politician.

The second module is a politics. Just like in real life politics in E-Sim are an extremely powerful tool that can be used for your own purposes. From time to time there are elections in the game in which you will not only vote, but also have the ability to run for the head of the party you're in. You can also apply for congress, where once elected you will be given the right to vote on laws proposed by your fellow congress members or your president and propose laws yourself. Voting on laws is important for your country as it can shape the lives of those around you. You can also try to become the head of a given party, and even take part in presidential elections and decide on the shape of the foreign policy of a given state (for example, who to declare war on). Career in politics is obviously not easy and in order to succeed in it, you have to have a good plan and compete for the votes of voters.


You can go bankrupt or become a rich man while playing the stock market.

The international war.

The last and probably the most important module is military. In E-Sim, countries are constantly fighting each other for control over territories which in return grant them access to more valuable raw materials. For this purpose, they form alliances, they fight international wars, but they also have to deal with, for example, uprisings in conquered countries or civil wars, which may explode on their territory. You can also take part in these clashes, although you are also given the opportunity to lead a life as a pacifist who focuses on other activities in the game (for example, running a successful newspaper or selling products).


At the auction you can sell or buy your dream inventory.

E-Sim is a unique browser game. It's creators ensured realistic representation of the mechanisms present in the real world and gave all power to the players who shape the image of the virtual Earth according to their own. So come and join them and help your country achieve its full potential.
