Hello America, while I cannot say I've been as active as I was in the summer with these articles, I feel that at times we need a kick in the pants. We went from one of the greatest countries in the world to basically nothing in the course of a few weeks. We've been occupied for nearly a month now and it's not getting better, and it doesn't look that great for the future. We've seen our allies completely abandon us in Spain and Lithuania, and more recently Indonesia. We went from a prospering new alliance to a shell of what we once were.

I speak to you now, as an American - and one who will always be that. We are entitled to some form of respect here, respect not due to being American, but respect for the beliefs WE held and the beliefs than WE continue to stand by. We allowed Poland to completely hate us through multiple RWs as well as joining AGC. We took for granted the fact that the people we were teaming up with were once a part of Alpha, a group that was mainly comprised of imperialists who cared nothing for other's playing the game. We chose to go the road not taken, we chose to stay with our brothers in Spain over the most powerful nation because we knew who was there for us when we needed it.

Well, apparently when your entire Country and economy is destroyed, you tend to forget those things I suppose, however when we're in the same situation, a situation we put ourselves in so that Spain would have a shot - you'd think a little more support could be possible. We sacrificed our well-being and what do we get in return? Absolutely nothing. It just goes to show that people are still petty, Poland is petty and so is Spain. I regret voicing my opinion about Spain, I regret it because despite the fact that they helped us in a time of need, when we are both equally wounded they chose to go an easier route, and leave us for dead.

It's ironic isn't it, that the country that was previously occupying us (Russia) were the ONLY people who stood by us through this time. Indonesia was never in any danger, Lithuania and Spain proved to be cowards when it mattered (Lithuania before our occupation even began) and people from places like Brazil were utterly useless, and were simply biding time until our alliances were up. And now, Poland has no active alliances, as well as the US in our war.

Meanwhile, countries all over the world are struck with terror in the face of Poland, signing MPPs with them to stop themselves from being destroyed. Something has to give eventually, one day Poland is going to strike a nerve somewhere which will lead to underground talks and eventually the eradication of Poland. I hope that I'm still around to see it, it may be a few months, but it will happen sooner or later. Poland has even decided to pick on Belarus, their actions are pretty pathetic. People may say that it's just a game, but when your principles differ from another person's perspective, when does it become alright to justify picking on and destroying another country. I write this now because I'm in such a place of disdain with the country that I truly have trouble articulating just how annoyed - no - disappointed I am with the world. We stood up for our brothers, and in return are met with a knife in the back in the selfish name of the desire for YOUR country to prosper while ours slips down due to the things we did for you.

So, I believe that while all of this is very sad, we can still grow. Culture is cultivated under oppression, and that's just what's being seen here. What we have lost in numbers and support, we have gained in community and brotherhood. We may not be strong enough to fight for our Country now, or maybe not even in a year... But eventually a phoenix will rise from our great nations ashes, not in the name of vengeance, but to secure ourselves from those who oppress, and FIGHT to take back what we deserve, and what weaker nations deserve. I say this now, I'm PROUD that I represent this country, I'm PROUD that I stuck with my brothers, despite losing them to their selfish ways, I'm PROUD that I didn't allow a country to topple our government because they could have done it with or without resistance, I'm PROUD that we have stuck by our guns and I'm PROUD to know and grow as a person with every single American reading this.

In time, we all learn to move on from certain things, and possibly when Poland is destroyed for its crimes we won't be here, maybe it will never happen because Admin is an idiot, or because they're simply too strong to be stopped. Numbers don't mean everything in the real world, but unfortunately here they do. We don't have war heroes to eradicate entire forces of troops in the night. We don't have the ability to hide in the trees and surgically force Poland to leave, hell if this was a real war Poland would have already been eradicated before they reached the border of Russia. But sadly, it's not - the real world can't work the way that E-sim does, our world is put in the hands of (mostly) ignorant adolescents that don't understand exactly how shitty it is to not be able to play a game you enjoy because of your nationality.

While these things may be sad truths, for the most part they are true. No amount of work will help us at this point unless we have some sort of insane baby boom and a few months for them all to become decent at the game. This article comes from the heart of a player who's been unable to enjoy the game for over a month now because of our invaders, greedy pigs who are not concerned with anything other than bettering their own experience while stepping on the backs of others. They're no different than a corporate fat cat, they don't see people they see a profit margin. Despite the fact that we lost our jobs so to speak, we still have our pride. We may never see the light of not being occupied again, but my guess is that with a new President we can see just that... I implore you America, take the chance here to learn from what I've been saying for all this time... Understand that while we are oppressed, in essence we are still free, we are still American and we are still true to ourselves in everyone else.

I'm proud to be an American in E-sim, and no amount of oppression will change that one bit... Are you?

Thanks,
Shavrae

About the game:

USA as a world power? In E-Sim it is possible!

In E-Sim we have a huge, living world, which is a mirror copy of the Earth. Well, maybe not completely mirrored, because the balance of power in this virtual world looks a bit different than in real life. In E-Sim, USA does not have to be a world superpower, It can be efficiently managed as a much smaller country that has entrepreneurial citizens that support it's foundation. Everything depends on the players themselves and how they decide to shape the political map of the game.

Work for the good of your country and see it rise to an empire.

Activities in this game are divided into several modules. First is the economy as a citizen in a country of your choice you must work to earn money, which you will get to spend for example, on food or purchase of weapons which are critical for your progress as a fighter. You will work in either private companies which are owned by players or government companies which are owned by the state. After progressing in the game you will finally get the opportunity to set up your own business and hire other players. If it prospers, we can even change it into a joint-stock company and enter the stock market and get even more money in this way.

In E-Sim, international wars are nothing out of the ordinary.

Become an influential politician.

The second module is a politics. Just like in real life politics in E-Sim are an extremely powerful tool that can be used for your own purposes. From time to time there are elections in the game in which you will not only vote, but also have the ability to run for the head of the party you're in. You can also apply for congress, where once elected you will be given the right to vote on laws proposed by your fellow congress members or your president and propose laws yourself. Voting on laws is important for your country as it can shape the lives of those around you. You can also try to become the head of a given party, and even take part in presidential elections and decide on the shape of the foreign policy of a given state (for example, who to declare war on). Career in politics is obviously not easy and in order to succeed in it, you have to have a good plan and compete for the votes of voters.

You can go bankrupt or become a rich man while playing the stock market.

The international war.

The last and probably the most important module is military. In E-Sim, countries are constantly fighting each other for control over territories which in return grant them access to more valuable raw materials. For this purpose, they form alliances, they fight international wars, but they also have to deal with, for example, uprisings in conquered countries or civil wars, which may explode on their territory. You can also take part in these clashes, although you are also given the opportunity to lead a life as a pacifist who focuses on other activities in the game (for example, running a successful newspaper or selling products).

At the auction you can sell or buy your dream inventory.

E-Sim is a unique browser game. It's creators ensured realistic representation of the mechanisms present in the real world and gave all power to the players who shape the image of the virtual Earth according to their own. So come and join them and help your country achieve its full potential.
