There's been a lot going on in e-sim in the last couple of weeks both on a national level and an international level. So I thought I'd keep everyone in the loop as best as I can by giving you all a quick run through. Some of you may already know this, but for those who don't pay much attention to stuff happening outside Canada, this may be interesting to read about.
So our alliance, Unico comprises of the following countries:
AUSTRALIA
CANADA
CROATIA
GERMANY
GREECE
IRAN
ISRAEL
MEXICO
SERBIA
SLOVENIA
Australia - They have all their regions and just today, they attacked Java, the capital of Indonesia following Indonesia's attack on Iran. Their CP is also the SC of Unico.
Canada - We got overpowered by Taiwan and China and lost our asian regions. It's a small setback, but we still have our own high region which is very profitable. We might go back to South Korea one day, or we might take a completely different direction. But for now we need to help our allies and be ready to focus on protecting CEC because it borders directly with USA and UK so while relations are ok now, it can fall very quickly and with extremely short notice.
Croatia - They've been at war with Hungary for many months and have secured WT, the Hungary high region for a while, but with Poland joining WOC, they lost it. They still have their own 6 regions though.
Germany - They have a colony in Switzerland and rented out one of their regions to Slovenia so Slovenia could bridge out and conquer Czech Republic. They're doing living pretty smoothly right now.
Greece - They own Republic of Macedonia's high region as well as their own. They gave the Italian regions back and signed an NAP with Italy.
Iran - Iran has been split politically for many months and following a civil war the other side finally took control. Indonesia took advantage and attacked their Indian colony. China has also put in a declaration of war that is still in the voting. Iran is facing 2 tough opponents. They currently hold 3 high regions (Pakistan + India)
Israel - They've conquered Turkey for many months while occasionally losing every once in a while because like us in SK, they have only 1 region that branches into Turkey so when it falls it's very hard to keep hold of the rest. They're currently fighting off a Turkish counterattack and will no doubt try to conquer them again in the near future.
Mexico - On good terms with Colombia, but with USA regaining regions, they will be a looming presence to their north. They currently have all 6 regions and all 6 are fully stocked with DS (pretty impressive!)
Serbia - They just lost their Bulgarian colonies and signed an NAP. They own all the B+H regions (B+H used to be in Unico but left to try to regain their regions and reject the rental deal)
Slovenia - They own all their regions as well as all of Czech Republic's regions thanks to the bridge trough Germany. They used to own Italy's high region but lost it to Poland and WOC. They're trying to regain it right now.
This is a brief summary of all the Unico countries' current situations, PM me (Owen) if you want more in-depth info or if you have any questions.
On a more non-unico level, I have no idea if WOC is still an alliance, but Poland left it, and is currently trying to recontrol Russia. Things are heating up in Asia which is a fun change from the european battles. And Portugal-Brazil are still at war.
I feel kind of awkward explaining all this, because I need to be careful what should be said in public and what is better kept away from random eyes and ears. But my point is that I want Canadians to be educated in what is going on internationally because I find it's easier to get involved and makes the game more interesting. If I trust you, send me a message and I'll give you the full package (in a very PG sorta way ofc)
In E-Sim we have a huge, living world, which is a mirror copy of the Earth.
Well, maybe not completely mirrored, because the balance of power in this virtual world looks a bit
different than in real life. In E-Sim, USA does not have to be a world superpower, It can be
efficiently
managed as a much smaller country that has entrepreneurial citizens that support it's foundation.
Everything depends on the players themselves and how they decide to shape the political map of the
game.
Work for the good of your country and
see it rise to an empire.
Activities in this game are divided into several modules.
First is the economy as a citizen in a country of your choice you must work to earn money, which you
will get to spend for example, on food or purchase of weapons which are critical for your progress
as a fighter.
You will work in either private companies which are owned by players or government companies which
are owned by the state.
After progressing in the game you will finally get the opportunity to set up your
own business and hire other players. If it prospers, we can even change it into a joint-stock
company and enter the stock market and get even more money in this way.
In E-Sim, international wars are nothing out of the ordinary.
"E-Sim is one of the most unique browser games out there"
Become an influential politician.
The second module is a politics. Just like in real life politics
in E-Sim are an extremely powerful tool that can be used for your own purposes.
From time to time there are elections in the game in which you will not only vote, but also have the ability
to run for the head of the party you're in.
You can also apply for congress, where once elected you will be given the right to vote on laws
proposed by your fellow congress members or your president and propose laws yourself.
Voting on laws is important for your country as it can shape the lives of those around you.
You can also try to become the head of a given party, and even take part in presidential
elections and decide on the shape of the foreign policy of a given state
(for example, who to declare war on).
Career in politics is obviously not easy and in order to succeed in it, you have to have
a good plan and compete for the votes of voters.
You can go bankrupt or become a rich man while playing the stock market.
The international war.
The last and probably the most important module is military.
In E-Sim, countries are constantly fighting each other for control
over territories which in return grant them access to more valuable raw materials.
For this purpose, they form alliances, they fight international wars, but they also have
to deal with, for example, uprisings in conquered countries or civil wars, which may explode on
their territory.
You can also take part in these clashes, although you are also given the opportunity to lead a life
as a pacifist
who focuses on other activities in the game (for example, running a successful newspaper or selling
products).
At the auction you can sell or buy your dream inventory.
E-Sim is a unique browser game.
It's creators ensured realistic representation of the mechanisms present
in the real world and gave all power to the players who shape the image of the virtual Earth
according to their own.
So come and join them and help your country achieve its full potential.
