Hello e-sim:ers, I have as a politician in e-sim along with many other found out that the current party system is worthless, all you do is elect a leader who shows up at the party's private page and get to choose who will not be allowed to candidate for congress. This seems like a very useless feature, especially in the smaller countries where there isn't many more then 5 parties and if you wanna candidate for congress you can just join a less active party... So I'm writing this suggestion with a few things that i think could change the party politics in e-sim and add a little more to the game Others may have suggested this before, I don't know, but if they have apparently it didn't get chosen as a good update so ill try again then!
This suggestion is built around a few different ones, you may agree that one or all of them are good. They are just thoughts at the moment...
#1 Make the party page have a bigger interface than what it is today, all you see when you go to the party's page now is who is the current leader and who are members of the party. To this i think you can add a description of the party, to be written by the leader/creator and maybe a tag (that shows up in the party statistic) on what the party stands for? Short tags or a choice from an interface about their political position (left, right, centre etc etc..) Also make this editable maybe 1 time per elected party leader. Alternatively more times for a gold cost? (to remove a little gold from the game
) Or for a voting in the party, like the congress vote for welcome message at the moment!
#2 An other option is the ability to form a newspaper belonging to the party, where everyone who joins the party automatically subscribes and it would work as a normal newspaper (without the MM medals etc obviously) that everyone can subscribe to. Or possibly a newspaper only visible to the members of the party?
#3 Set a 5 day (or about that) limit from when you could join a party, to when you can candidate for party leader, this isnt really necessary for congress though, since the leader can edit those.
Alt #3 Kicking players from your party or maybe even banning certain players, today people can join a party one minute and candidate for party president the next. Popular high profile players may use this to "ninja" party's, steal them, change name and everything.
#4 Another way to reach out to the party members, if you don't like the newspaper idea would be to make a "pm all members option" for the leader. This would off-course only be able to use from the leader position, to prevent spamming the players. At the moment when you wanna reach out to all party members you have to copy-paste a message to every single member and on top of that, wait 10 seconds between every send
This can be very annoying if you have a big party or wanna get some feedback from members.
#5 A party shout, this would be quite simple, the ability to shout in the party just as you can do in your country/military unit/friends, if you have shorter updates on progress etc etc.
#6 The ability to vote to change leader of the party, within the time of his/her elected period. If someone got to be the leader by promising great things but then only ruins the party and does the opposite of what all the members joined the party for i think there should be an option to remove him as a leader with voting. Simple as that.
These are only very first though suggestions and i would love to get any feedback from those who have managed to read my entire suggestion! I appolagize for bad English too, been years since i studied it in school so alot of the expressions or words might be Swed-English
TLDR for the post above, 6 suggestions for improving the party module:
#1 = Bigger party interface, with description and tags for the party statistic list.
#2 = A newspaper linked to every party, possibly private or for everyone (no MM gold or medals..)
#3 = Minimum time limit for joining party -> candidature for party president
#4 = Alternative to party newspaper = The option to send a pm to every member in 1 click!
#5 = A party shout, works just like a SC shout or player one, can be added to main page.
#6 = Voting for overthrowing current party leader? For a few golds and need support.. This is very optionall and could be replaced with the time limit from joining to candidature which i think is a better option!

USA as a world power? In E-Sim it is possible!
In E-Sim we have a huge, living world, which is a mirror copy of the Earth. Well, maybe not completely mirrored, because the balance of power in this virtual world looks a bit different than in real life. In E-Sim, USA does not have to be a world superpower, It can be efficiently managed as a much smaller country that has entrepreneurial citizens that support it's foundation. Everything depends on the players themselves and how they decide to shape the political map of the game.
Work for the good of your country and see it rise to an empire.
Activities in this game are divided into several modules. First is the economy as a citizen in a country of your choice you must work to earn money, which you will get to spend for example, on food or purchase of weapons which are critical for your progress as a fighter. You will work in either private companies which are owned by players or government companies which are owned by the state. After progressing in the game you will finally get the opportunity to set up your own business and hire other players. If it prospers, we can even change it into a joint-stock company and enter the stock market and get even more money in this way.
In E-Sim, international wars are nothing out of the ordinary.
Become an influential politician.
The second module is a politics. Just like in real life politics in E-Sim are an extremely powerful tool that can be used for your own purposes. From time to time there are elections in the game in which you will not only vote, but also have the ability to run for the head of the party you're in. You can also apply for congress, where once elected you will be given the right to vote on laws proposed by your fellow congress members or your president and propose laws yourself. Voting on laws is important for your country as it can shape the lives of those around you. You can also try to become the head of a given party, and even take part in presidential elections and decide on the shape of the foreign policy of a given state (for example, who to declare war on). Career in politics is obviously not easy and in order to succeed in it, you have to have a good plan and compete for the votes of voters.
You can go bankrupt or become a rich man while playing the stock market.
The international war.
The last and probably the most important module is military. In E-Sim, countries are constantly fighting each other for control over territories which in return grant them access to more valuable raw materials. For this purpose, they form alliances, they fight international wars, but they also have to deal with, for example, uprisings in conquered countries or civil wars, which may explode on their territory. You can also take part in these clashes, although you are also given the opportunity to lead a life as a pacifist who focuses on other activities in the game (for example, running a successful newspaper or selling products).
At the auction you can sell or buy your dream inventory.
E-Sim is a unique browser game. It's creators ensured realistic representation of the mechanisms present in the real world and gave all power to the players who shape the image of the virtual Earth according to their own. So come and join them and help your country achieve its full potential.
