公元690年，中国有两个年号，一个是唐载初元年，另一个是周天授元年，两个年号是一个主人——武则天。
这一年九月，侍御史傅游艺领着九百多名民意代表递上一份请愿书，强烈要求天后武则天把国号改为“周”，名正言顺的当大周的皇帝。劝人当皇帝这种行为在古时候叫做劝进，劝进只是一种形式，这种形式是有约定的程序的，不能一劝就进，而是要有一个半推半就的过程。就象收受人家的礼品，不能在对方一拿出礼品时就说恭敬不如从命，要先推辞一番，说些不要这么庸俗一类的话。
按照劝进的规矩，武则天没有同意傅游艺的请求，但这次行动的大方向还是必须加以肯定的，傅游艺因而被破格提拔为五品官员。榜样的力量是无穷的，朝廷的各级官员、皇家的成员、四夷的酋长、百姓的代表，还有僧人道士们当下就明白应该怎么办了，他们再次、再一次的劝进。一般来说经过三次劝进后就可以顺应潮流了，武则天宣布改“唐”为“周”，接受了“圣神皇帝”这个尊号。
改朝换代之后，武则天在明堂摆下家宴，召来儿孙们共享欢乐。
明堂在人们心目中是一个很严肃的地方，如果放在其他时期，在明堂举办家宴肯定会遭到反对，武则天不会忘记开耀元年发生的事情。
开耀元年，唐高宗和武则天计划在大明宫宣政殿宴请百官和他们的女眷，能够参加宴会的女眷必须是有正式封号的，这叫命妇。一切都安排妥当了，掌管国家礼仪的太常博士认为宣政殿是正殿，是皇帝处理国家大事的地方，不是女士们吃喝玩乐的场所。武则天只得改在麟德殿宴请这些女士。
如今武则天自己当了皇帝，朕的地盘朕做主，想怎么做就怎么做，其他人谁敢说三道四。
参加这次宴会的有武则天的儿子皇嗣李旦和他的儿女们，三世同堂。李旦的儿女们在宴会上给奶奶表演了歌舞。
首先出场的是李成器，他是李旦的长子，又是皇太孙，是法定的第二皇位继承人。李成器当时十二岁，说是皇孙，实际上是挂着虚名，被圈在深宫之中，连姓都和皇帝保持一致改成武了。李成器唱了一首歌，曲调的名称是安公子，安公子在隋朝时就被列为宫庭中的乐曲，在唐朝也是教坊乐曲。
接下来出场的是楚王李隆基。李隆基出生在垂拱元年八月，在李旦的男孩子中排第三，小名三郎，垂拱三年被封为楚王。李隆基男扮女妆舞了一曲《长命女》。这一年李隆基年方六岁。一年多后，七岁的李隆基参加朔望的大朝会，此时他已经被允许设立自己的王府，并且配备了一整套的官吏。王公出行时有相应的仪仗队前后护拥，李隆基的仪仗队训练有素，威严整肃，在场的官员目睹之后赞叹不已。这种情景引起现场总指挥武懿宗的不满，在他看来李家这个小毛孩子如此张狂是在向以武则天为首的武家示威，就要煞煞这个小王子的锐气。武懿宗借着指挥调动仪仗队的机会，对楚王府的仪仗队大加训斥。李隆基不吃着一套，他当着文武百官的面反击武懿宗说：这里是我们家的朝堂，有你什么事，竟敢在这吓唬我的骑从。武则天听说这件事后，不仅没有因为自己的亲戚受到李家一个七岁的孩子的斥责而恼怒，反而认为李隆基具有英雄本色。
在李隆基后面出场表演节目的是五岁的衛王李隆范，他在这几个小王子中是最具有文艺细胞的一位，所跳的舞蹈很有些难度，这个舞蹈就是著名的《蘭陵王》。
《蘭陵王》始创于北齐时期，北齐皇帝高澄的第四个儿子高长恭被封为蘭陵王，高长恭是一个美男子，不是一般的美貌，打仗的时候跨马提抢和对手照面，人家怎么看都像是面对着一个奶油小生，为了增加威慑力，高长恭上阵时要戴上一幅面目狰狞的假面具。真动器刀枪来，高长恭那是勇冠三军，齐国的将士们很佩服蘭陵王高长恭，就创作了《蘭陵王入阵曲》的舞蹈，表演者都戴着面具，作出各种刺杀的动作。
《蘭陵王》在表演之前要先由演员致词，五岁的李隆范戴着面具出场后用那种稚气的嗓音致词说：“衛王入场咒神，神圣神皇万岁！子孙成行！”武则天听到五岁的孙子高喊“神圣神皇万岁”心中肯定高兴，如果不是经过血与火的搏斗，自己充其量也是以皇太后的名目接受孙子们的祝福。但“子孙成行”这句话却掐着武则天的心，没有子孙对于一个母亲来说是非常不幸的事情，但这些子孙毕竟是李家的后代，与大周王朝的皇帝不是同祖同宗，自己面临着选择什么人作为接班人的问题。
最后出场的是两位孙女，一个是李旦的长女，一个是李旦的第四个女儿，李旦的第四个女儿才四岁，也像模像样的和姐姐一同跳起了西凉舞。
表面上看武则天在享受着当奶奶的天伦之乐，但是在这种天伦之乐的背后却潜伏着危机，武则天明白，并不是所有的人都真心的拥护自己取唐而代之，而此时身为皇嗣的李旦很有可能成为政治对手的一面旗帜。武则天亲生的四个儿子中，一个被称宣布为“暴死”，一个被废掉太子的身份后死在流放地巴州，一个刚当了几天皇帝就被拉下皇帝的宝座流放到房陵，李旦是唯一一个留在身边的儿子，如果再遇上残酷斗争无情打击，恐怕就会应了孔子那句名言“始作俑者，其无后乎。”这也是武则天将李旦和他的儿子们关在深宫之中的原因之一，少跟外界接触就少一些事情。
幸运的是，上述几个小王子和公主都渡过了非常时期长大成人。
皇孙李成器后来被封为宁王，他将自己太子的地位让给了三弟李隆基，死后被追封为“让皇帝”。
楚王李隆基后来做了皇帝，就是唐玄宗。
衛王李隆范后来被封为岐王，他幼年时显示的文艺才能在成年后得以发扬，岐王府成为文学界和文艺界人士的活动站，一些著名的演艺界人士“岐王宅里寻常见”。
李旦的第四个女儿名李华，字花婉，很有诗意。被封为代国长公主，下嫁郑万钧，诗书琴画样样精通。

In E-Sim we have a huge, living world, which is a mirror copy of the Earth. Well, maybe not completely mirrored, because the balance of power in this virtual world looks a bit different than in real life. In E-Sim, USA does not have to be a world superpower, It can be efficiently managed as a much smaller country that has entrepreneurial citizens that support it's foundation. Everything depends on the players themselves and how they decide to shape the political map of the game.
Work for the good of your country and see it rise to an empire.
Activities in this game are divided into several modules. First is the economy as a citizen in a country of your choice you must work to earn money, which you will get to spend for example, on food or purchase of weapons which are critical for your progress as a fighter. You will work in either private companies which are owned by players or government companies which are owned by the state. After progressing in the game you will finally get the opportunity to set up your own business and hire other players. If it prospers, we can even change it into a joint-stock company and enter the stock market and get even more money in this way.
In E-Sim, international wars are nothing out of the ordinary.
Become an influential politician.
The second module is a politics. Just like in real life politics in E-Sim are an extremely powerful tool that can be used for your own purposes. From time to time there are elections in the game in which you will not only vote, but also have the ability to run for the head of the party you're in. You can also apply for congress, where once elected you will be given the right to vote on laws proposed by your fellow congress members or your president and propose laws yourself. Voting on laws is important for your country as it can shape the lives of those around you. You can also try to become the head of a given party, and even take part in presidential elections and decide on the shape of the foreign policy of a given state (for example, who to declare war on). Career in politics is obviously not easy and in order to succeed in it, you have to have a good plan and compete for the votes of voters.
You can go bankrupt or become a rich man while playing the stock market.
The international war.
The last and probably the most important module is military. In E-Sim, countries are constantly fighting each other for control over territories which in return grant them access to more valuable raw materials. For this purpose, they form alliances, they fight international wars, but they also have to deal with, for example, uprisings in conquered countries or civil wars, which may explode on their territory. You can also take part in these clashes, although you are also given the opportunity to lead a life as a pacifist who focuses on other activities in the game (for example, running a successful newspaper or selling products).
At the auction you can sell or buy your dream inventory.
