9. Speaking of Premium Accounts, I mentioned earlier that they allow players to see how many other players are watching the battle and which nationality they are. However, this does not tell us how many of those players actually have damage left to deal. After reset, when fighting to secure CEC, there were 40 American flags watching the battle and around 27 Ukranian flags. The Ukranians called off the attack and we took the next four or five rounds. By having a large number of Americans watching battles, we disguise our numbers (BANTU RAIDER STYLE!!!), and give them reason to think twice. All you have to do is remember to refresh (and possibly log back in) in the last five minutes of a battle, leave the tab open and go back to whatever porn you were looking at. It’s so easy.
10. The Hell on Wheels staff, if they could, really would love to supply everyone. But complaining about it doesn’t change anything, it’s just not their call. The President or Secretary of Defense make this decision and they make it based on the funding allocated by Congress on a week to week basis and that money has to last for whatever comes up. I’m not in Congress but they hold the purse strings, not the people doing the distributions. Maybe if you hassled your Congresspersons instead of us, you’d see more supplies available. Maybe not, but they’re the ones you elect to deal with budget problems and they’re the ones who need to hear you and who can help. The HoW staff is usually pretty busy, we try to explain it if we have time but frequently we simply do not. Talk to your elected officials about any of your concerns or complaints. Complaining to the HoW staff is about as useful as complaining to your dog about taxes.
11. For those of us in an MU, this really isn’t that cut and dry but, generally, if HoW is open whatever they’re working on is more important than the orders set by the commanders of your MU. An MU commander cannot change orders once they have been set, until the battle they are set to concludes. Sometimes this results in a battle that needs little attention being an MU’s focus for several hours. If you’re not sure, ask an officer in your MU or ask someone with ops in #sim-us.strikes. We’re all usually on the same page.
12. We have a new alliance and the global alliance structure has shifted dramatically in the past week or so. This is a phenomenally good thing. We were losing people every day because of the stagnant situation the previous alliance structure had concluded in. Many of these allies are people whom we previously fought against, however, as you can see by the 13+ million damage put down by Romania, Hungary, Russia and Indonesia these guys have our backs. They were putting gifts and weapons down because they don’t hold a grudge and, frankly, if you’re still holding a grudge you’re either a sheep or just a jerk.
13. This is a more speculative matter and I have had many debates about this, feel free to go the other way. But, as it stands, 10 Q5 Gifts will buy you somewhere around 65 Q1 weapons. If you go with the gifts and fight bare-fisted, you will double your damage. If you only eat 10 Q5 Food and use 50 weapons, you will more than double your damage. This means less experience but more ranks, and that means less leveling gold and faster ranking up and thereby more damage. As far as the nation is concerned, I generally prefer weapons to gifts. It’s more damage now and it’s more damage tomorrow.
14. I can’t stress this enough. MOVE TO FIGHT EVERY TIME! Resistance Wars are simple, just move to the region the Resistance War is in and fight for the proper side. Normal battles are a bit trickier, but can usually be pulled appart pretty quickly by looking at the battle, then looking at the map. If you are supporting the defender, then you move to the region being attacked. If you’re supporting the attacker, you must move to a region that is both owned by the attacking nation and that ‘borders’ the defending region. This can be complicated, as some connections cross bodies of water. To check, while on the map, click the defending region. This should open a new tab and near the top it lists connected regions and their owner. Any region that is owned by the attacker works equally well. This gains you a 20% damage bonus and is as good as being in an Elite Military unit. It’s like having Q1 weapons but getting the benefit of Q2 weapons instead. Even if you only get a Q1 ticket, you won’t miss those four fights one little bit.
15. Seriously. Everytime someone does this, I have to convince someone on IRC that you’re not a traitor. I know you’re not and I know you just want the money but, honestly, do you want me to have talk everyone into believing that you’re just being selfish instead of Benedict Arnold? It’s not a good look. There’s plenty of other fights out there. Just be patient.
16. WE KNOW WAR! WE LOVE WAR! WE LIVE WAR! IT’S WHAT WE DO! THE GREATEST THING IN LIFE IS TO CRUSH YOUR ENEMIES AND SEE THEM DRIVEN BEFORE YOU AND TO HEAR THE LAMENTATIONS OF THEIR WOMEN!!! No, but really we know what’s up and love talking about it. If we don’t know, we can usually find out.
So, I hope at least someone read all of this. I was writing it in Notepad a couple hours ago, shifted position and knocked my charger loose. My laptop battery is fried so it instantly killed and I lost everything from explanation #8 up. If you think I’m vulgar, you should have seen that. Wow. On the bright side, my second or third rewrite is always better.
In E-Sim we have a huge, living world, which is a mirror copy of the Earth.
Well, maybe not completely mirrored, because the balance of power in this virtual world looks a bit
different than in real life. In E-Sim, USA does not have to be a world superpower, It can be
efficiently
managed as a much smaller country that has entrepreneurial citizens that support it's foundation.
Everything depends on the players themselves and how they decide to shape the political map of the
game.
Work for the good of your country and
see it rise to an empire.
Activities in this game are divided into several modules.
First is the economy as a citizen in a country of your choice you must work to earn money, which you
will get to spend for example, on food or purchase of weapons which are critical for your progress
as a fighter.
You will work in either private companies which are owned by players or government companies which
are owned by the state.
After progressing in the game you will finally get the opportunity to set up your
own business and hire other players. If it prospers, we can even change it into a joint-stock
company and enter the stock market and get even more money in this way.
In E-Sim, international wars are nothing out of the ordinary.
"E-Sim is one of the most unique browser games out there"
Become an influential politician.
The second module is a politics. Just like in real life politics
in E-Sim are an extremely powerful tool that can be used for your own purposes.
From time to time there are elections in the game in which you will not only vote, but also have the ability
to run for the head of the party you're in.
You can also apply for congress, where once elected you will be given the right to vote on laws
proposed by your fellow congress members or your president and propose laws yourself.
Voting on laws is important for your country as it can shape the lives of those around you.
You can also try to become the head of a given party, and even take part in presidential
elections and decide on the shape of the foreign policy of a given state
(for example, who to declare war on).
Career in politics is obviously not easy and in order to succeed in it, you have to have
a good plan and compete for the votes of voters.
You can go bankrupt or become a rich man while playing the stock market.
The international war.
The last and probably the most important module is military.
In E-Sim, countries are constantly fighting each other for control
over territories which in return grant them access to more valuable raw materials.
For this purpose, they form alliances, they fight international wars, but they also have
to deal with, for example, uprisings in conquered countries or civil wars, which may explode on
their territory.
You can also take part in these clashes, although you are also given the opportunity to lead a life
as a pacifist
who focuses on other activities in the game (for example, running a successful newspaper or selling
products).
At the auction you can sell or buy your dream inventory.
E-Sim is a unique browser game.
It's creators ensured realistic representation of the mechanisms present
in the real world and gave all power to the players who shape the image of the virtual Earth
according to their own.
So come and join them and help your country achieve its full potential.
